How do I log in to Telegram?
Enter the phone number linked to your Telegram account. You'll receive a verification code in Telegram (or via SMS). If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you'll also need to enter your password.
Is it safe to enter my Telegram credentials?
Yes. The app uses the official Telegram protocol (TDLib). Data is stored only on your device, encrypted and protected by Keychain. No data is sent to third-party servers.
Why does the app need access to contacts?
To match contacts from your address book with Telegram users by phone number, and to write photos to your address book.
What does "10 free updates" mean?
You can update photos for 10 contacts for free. After that, a one-time purchase unlocks unlimited access.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the purchase screen and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're using the same Apple ID.
A contact wasn't found on Telegram
The app matches contacts by phone number. If the number in your address book doesn't match the one in Telegram, the contact won't be found.
